Guest guest
Hello everyone. I have an RSS child - now 13 mths. And, I have a silly question. Where can I find clothes to fit him? Obviously, I can do some tucking on the sides with the sewing machine - but, might there be an " easier way " ? Thanks for your help. Guest guest
Not a silly question at all. When they were infants, it was easier, because I just kept buying smaller infant clothes (3 months at 13 months, finding little jeans, etc). It is harder at 5 yrs old when they don't want to wear shirts that snap at the crotch!!!! > Hello everyone. I have an RSS child - now 13 mths. And, I have a > silly question. Guest guest
Hello advocate 22003! I would love to call you by name but I don't have one! LOL is 2.5 yrs old now, and finally wearing 12-month size clothes, thank goodness! At a year, he was still fitting in his preemie clothes, and newborn-sizes!! I keep him in overalls as much as possible, so that I don't have to worry about his pants falling down! LOL A lot of times the overall shoulder straps will fall down so I just cross them in the back, and hook them in the front. I choose shirts with buttons, or snaps, so that they will fit over his head, and still fit his body too. Most of his clothes are too big width-wise, but fit him length-wise. Hope this helps!! Guest guest
I forgot to add that if his pants fall down, I found a small pair of suspenders that has worked well. Guest guest
The really tough part is when they're out of diapers but all the pants that might fit are still cut for diapers! Destiny can still wear a pair of size 12mo jean shorts I got her two years ago. Re: New to the Group with silly question Not a silly question at all. Guest guest
Gaby is 20 months and I find a lot of a clothes and old navy and gap (when they are on sale). The olds at old navy sinks a lot and when you wash and dry it it fits fine. I also found a store called Janie and Jack. the are on the web " janieandjack.com " I always wait for them to go on sale. I do not know were you live, but if you are looking for shoes there is a store in Beverly HIlls, ca that will order walking shoes for our kids. The price is okay Stella > Hello everyone. Guest guest
Thank you. It seems Old Navy is the place to go based on the responses I've been getting. I've actually had good luck with Stride Rite for shoes. We can buy a 2 1/2 shoe - maybe a 3 on a good day and they actually have shoes that size! Thanks again. > > Hello everyone.
