Guest guest
Hi, on www.ithyroid.com has a lot of good info on cadmium, particularly how it contributes to GD. Cigarette smoke is also rich in cadmium and it's one of the reasons GD and GO are more likely to occur in smokers. Lithium is known to trigger both autoimmune hypothryoidism and hyperthyroidism. Medically, it's used to treat bi-polar disorders and one of the consequences is eventual thyroid disease. Fluoride is known to displace iodide and can cause hypothyroidism. It also has many toxic effects and fluoridation of water has come under great scrutiny. Granted, the amounts in sea silver are probably small but I can't see how they would benefit anyone but the manufacturer. Take care, Elaine
