Hi Betty,

I found myself in the same position as you. I had RAI before realizing that

there were alternatives. Please know, (and this is in the archives lots),

that there are a great many of us that have had this. Please try to

remember that not all individuals respond to the treatment like many of

those on this list. You will be able to find lots of horror stories but

that doesn't mean that you will experience any or all of this. Many of us

are here because of our negative experiences. It might be best to read on

because you need to know what might happen, not what always does happen.

Lots of us are here because we wanted answers to things that have come up

for us. Those without side effects and complications simply don't need this

list.

There are wonderful, caring people here who are willing to share their

knowledge (which is extensive) and experience. Try not to be afraid. You

are neither alone nor condemned to have all the problems.
