Guest guest
Hi all, I've been taking 10 - 15 drops each of bugleweed, lemonbalm, motherwort, and hawthorne tincture in a glass of water once a day for 2 months to try to boost my TSH. My endo wanted me to try PTU (because I have had reactions to Tapazole) to raise my TSH, which has been less than .02 for over a year while I've been under 'observation' and taking nothing. About a year ago my Graves Disease major symptoms cleared up, either spontaneously or due to craniosacral treatments and various supplements I took at the time. All other readings - FT3, FT4, TSI anitbodies - have been in the normal ranges for about a year. Because I am well informed (thanks in part to you) and because alternatives have worked for me in the past, he was willing to monitor me on the herbs. My latest lab results show a TSH of .1 (normal for me begins @ .27). This is excellent news. I'm going to continue to take the herbal tinctures and get quarterly thyroid tests. I thought some of you would find this news encouraging. I seldom post, but I do still read many of the postings - work, kids & chores fill up my time. Hi to anyone who remembers me from my more frequent posts; this group really did help me in a time of crisis. Thank you and I wish you all well.
