Guest guest
Hi, I'm Cheryl and I read a lot of the posts but don't participate much any more. We go to the convention each year, so we'll see many of you there. Our RSS daughter is 11 yrs. old, on GH since age 5 yr. and 11 months, and she's doing wonderfully well. I have a 9 yr. old who is GH deficient, so she's on GH, too. The reason for my post: I was at CVS drugstore today (they are a chain store in the US) and I found what they call a " SNACK CUBE " , a small refrigerator that would be great for traveling. It comes with 2 adaptors, one for the car, and one for the regular wall outlet. And it was $29.99, which I thought was a great price. So, for those of you traveling (to the convention or elsewhere this summer), just wanted to pass this along. I know other stores have these but if it doesn't have both types of plugs, you are limited in usage. I think some hotels charge for refrigerators in the rooms - we were quoted $10.00 a day at one place, and that's outrageous to me. So, we'll be trying this one out and see if it can keep our GH cold. It says it can maintain a 36 degree temp. Cheryl mom to , RSS on GH mom to , (growth hormone deficient and on GH)
