Guest guest
I am assuming here the discussion regarding travel insurance is for airline tickets?? I would suggest if you can to use Southwest if this is a concern to you. I always use them when possible. If you need to change a ticket for any reason you get a full credit for the amount of your ticket. There is no $100 fee to change a ticket like the major airlines charge. The only drawback for Chicago is they only fly into midway which is more inconvenient then O'Hare. I must admit that three years ago my husband and I had airline tickets with United Airlines to go to the MAGIC conference. My inlaws came into town to watch Jake so we could go alone (Jake was only 17 mos. old). Of course the night before we were set to go Jake 's blood sugar levels crashed and we were in the ER. We decided that I would go to Chicago and he would stay behind. I called the airline immediately to explain the situation. They refused to cancel the $100 change fee on my husband's ticket, but eventually after going up the ladder I got a supervisor to waive the fee and we used the full credit the following year for my husband to come to the conference. Guest guest
I think discussion about travel insurance is for families travelling from outside of USA for health insurance during travel to USA. I have bought them for my parents when they visit us to US, and they usually cover only accidents and sudden illnesses Sabina
