Guest guest
Hi Very recently someone mentioned using a little extra B6 daily (50mg?), at a doctor's suggestion, to counter PMS symptoms, with great success. Since the B vitamins are water solluble, theoretically any extra gets excreted from your system (I don't know about mega-doses, though). I also know that it's useful to keep the various B vitamins in balance with each other, and also to get them from food where possible. I used to consult a naturopath who sent my bloodwork out for analysis of vitamin levels; more recently I got a clinical nutritionist to the same thing under my current insurance. That seemed pretty helpful. Elaine's book also makes suggestions about supplements to modulate/adjust the immune system. I've been trying some and don't really know if they're helping--except that a bad hay fever season has started here in the Northeast and it doesn't seem to be bothering me, which is quite unusual. Best wishes,
