Guest guest
Thanks for the message, I have seven friends on the list that want to get off and have talke to them about the situation. They are discouraged and feel that we are becoming to commerialized and we are fighting amongst ourselves and the help and knowledge that we have is being put second. Let's try to move on and keep the postings to non commercial things. E-mail people privately if you want to promote something. Two months ago someone wanted Transfer Factor information and when I read the txt. rule reminder I told them if they want info, I would e-mail them privately since I just became a Leader for 4Life Transfer Factor in order to save money. I don't make any money. Thanks, Sharon
Guest guest
Rebekha, I hate to see a parent who is sincerely considering the diet go off the list because 1 or 2 people out of 2000 said something that offends. More than that, I hate to see a child lose the opportunity to be helped. This group really is a great group of moms and dads who are looking for ways to help their children. There is one thing that I always keep in mind. So many of us are under extra-ordinairy stress. Raising children is tough -- but raising kids with special needs is sometimes incredibly overwhelming. I myself felt very lost and overwhelmed with the news that my son would probably need support for the rest of his life. I am older (44) and the mom to two 5yr olds. At best, I would have 40 good years left to take care of him. What would happen to him when I was no longer around. My husband is 56. I also wondered about some of the post's I've seen lately. They seem to be very 'commercial' It doesn't surprise me that we will be getting these kinds of post on the list every now and then. The list is growing and I suppose it will happen. The parents and caregivers, doctors and professionals (like Dave from Kirkman Labs and n Klaveness) who are on the list for the right reasons -- to help our kids -- far outweigh those that are on for other reasons. Myself, I just ignore the objectional stuff and look read the stuff that really matters to me. My son is 'cured' and there is no doubt that he will grow up to be an independent adult. In part, due to the support of all of those who have answered my questions or the questions of others. I remain on the list to help others and to continue to learn.
