Guest guest
Carmen, Max is a terrible sleeper and has been for years. We used to have to give him mega-doses of Benadryl to sleep and even that did not really help. Part of it was because of the ADD meds he was taking. When we switched, he still had difficulty so the doctor added Clonodine. That did help him go to sleep and we were lucky if he slept until 6. Max takes a whole lot of meds now and we would like to reduce the quantity, but each one helps another issue. He has anger and anxiety issues, so we should probably talk more at the convention. It sounds like Storm may be somewhat like Max in that area. He still takes Clonodine, but not for sleep. It's to control his tics for Tourette's. But he also takes Klonopin and that is for anxiety. Between the two, he does fall asleep quickly, but he is still up around 5:30/6am. At least he is old enough to take care of himself. At this point in my life/age, I would be pretty upset if I had to get up with him! Jodi Z.
