Guest guest
Hi all. I am REALLY new to the diet but not the list. I am a lurker and have been for a while. Can someone tell me a reference where I can find out if certain ingredients are casein or not? I have tried GFCFdiet but it didn't have specific ingredients that could contain or do contain casein. For example, calcium phosphate? If you could just point me to a reference site I would appreciate it. Starting to read these labels are pretty confusing!! I will be going gluten free in the weeks ahead as well but taking it one thing at a time. Thank you!!! __________________________________________________
Guest guest
This link takes you directly to the page on the gfcfdiet.com where additives are listed in detail. This is the Acceptable list. http://www.gfcfdiet.com/CondimentsAdditives.htm When you are here, on the left hand side menu (purple bar) click on Unacceptable and you will get to the list which contains unacceptable additives as well as other stuff. There is a little more information on specifics here. You can also look for Casein in the Food List and click on it. In general, go to gfcfdiet.com, then scroll down and click on Site Map. On the next page click on Site Map in the middle of the page again. At the site map, click on Food List to get to this list. There is also the Printable Lists in 4 parts which prints out these same lists. It took a few trys to figure this out myself. Hope this helps. and boys.
