Guest guest
I looked at my sign up sheet and it says Field Museum. I have to tell people of my experience with the field trip 3 years ago. I still shake when I think of it. It was only a kazzilion degrees outside and breakfast was running late for us (Adam decided not to eat, found out later his 6 year molars were coming in but at the time he was just picking at his breakfast and I was flipping he'd be starving!) and then I rushed them off to their group and said goodbye. Never thinking to ask where they were going. I thought it was an outdoor thing and the hotel is soooooo cool I never realized how darn hot it was outside. I hadn't sent them with hats or water bottles or nothing. Well I fretted and paced and generally freaked out. What a bad mom I was!! I was beside myself. Ended up some indoor thing and they had a blast and I worried for nothing! Just thought I'd share! Guest guest
To all of you who may not be from Chicago and do not know the Field museum I fill you in. It is the museum of natural history. There is a great dinosaur exhibit and they can go into a pyramid and see mummies if they want too. The museum is interactive with lots to read and do. The museum has a cafeteria and a Mcs. There are three vast floors of exhibits and a library too. Check it out online if you want to know more.
