You don't want to rock the boat at this point. Since thyroid replacement medications are such a HUGE money maker for pharmaceutical companies, I wonder why one, at least, doesn't try to coat or buffer the tablet or supply it in capsule form for those who want to take it on an empty stomach? I'll bet there'd be a market. I might add, for the sake of the discussion and those who aren't yet aware of this, that generics are sometimes very poor and if anyone gets pills that smell strange or find that their testing is flukey, you may want to inform the pharmacist and ask for a replacement.
