Guest guest
Here's a question for you regarding customs......... When we went to the convention 3 years ago I had a letter from Adam's dad saying I was OK to take the kids out of Canada. Now I am reading and seeing that I need a notarized note..............I am guessing that means lawyer..........and I know Adam's dad is not going to go to that trouble for me by seeing a lawyer. Any thoughts? Any one have any experience? Any ideas who else could notarize? Panicking Debby Re: [MAGIC_list] customs > We just came back from Cancun a week ago. Guest guest
Hi Debby, Most banks have a Notary Public. Your bank should be able to notarize the note or they can refer you to someone who can. I hope this helps. Guest guest
Hi Debby, I'm not sure how is in the different provinces but in Alberta we can have it done at the bank and at some Registrars (sp) offices, where you renew the stickers for you cars, renew drivers lisences, get passport photos, etc. This was our first time getting passports as adults and we couldn't believe how much info they wanted and the quite short list of who is able to be a guarantor! Thankgoodness it's all done now and that they actually came in 2 weeks early! Can't wait to meet you! Leah, mom to 9 and Olivia 4.5, RSS, OI PS... My girlfriend even needs a notarized letter for her daughter to fly with her in-laws from Calgary to Vancouver and my girlfriend and her husband are on a flight with the same airline 1 hour later to the same place! (there wasn't enough room to get them all on the same flight) > Here's a question for you regarding customs......... > When we went to the convention 3 years ago I had a letter from Adam's dad > saying I was OK to take the kids out of Canada.
