Guest guest
I used a recipe from the group gfcfrecipes, but can't put my hands on it at the moment. Basically, add some sugar to darifree milk sub and heat slowly until it thickens. I made some great fudge with it - also from gfcfrecipes. If you haven't checked into that group yet, take a look. All my cooking questions so far have been answered by members - it's a lifesaver. > What can I substitute for sweetened condensed milk? > I've been wanting to make a key lime pie. Guest guest
Maybe canned coconut milk sweetened with a little added sugar would work? I haven't tried this in a pie, but I use coconut milk in our oatmeal. It might add a little coconut taste to the pie which you may or may not like. Any pie sounds good to me right now Liberty Sweetened condensed milk > What can I substitute for sweetened condensed milk? > I've been wanting to make a key lime pie.
