Guest guest
Thanks for the advice. I have never had anything notarized before and my mom was trying to call the U.S. consulate to ask them and got no where (of course! LOL) and so at a travel agency they said only a lawyer. But geez if you guys have them in supermarkets!!!! My X husband has gone off on vacation for a week, but I'll ask him when he brings the kids back next Friday. I might try calling his bank and seeing if they can do it. Maybe I'll get real lucky and his boss can do it. I can't ask at school since we are now out for the summer. But after 9/11 our rules all changed on who can sign for passports etc. etc. so I figured that might be the same. thanks again to all of you..........it's so great to be able to put out an S.O.S. and get a bunch of replies in no time.
