Hi Joanne,

the meds will lower your thyroid hormone levels, and if the dose is too high

this can cause temporary hypothyroidism. You may just need a change in dose.

Also, if you had thyroiditis rather than graves' disease, hyper symptoms

usually last about 6 weeks and then people develop hypothyroidism, which can

be temporary or permanent. Take care, elaine
