Guest guest
Just got my test results back from my 3 month check up and I am confused . To refresh your memory if you have all forgotten . I was mis diagnosed for 10 years and finally 2 years ago (this month) , I found out I had graves disease . Well at the time I was hyperthyroidism, but had all the symptoms of hypo , the doctor said that dont happen alot but sometimes it does , well anyway , the following test came back at 3 months and they said after the tapazole 10mg, it was holding , and then after the 6 month check up I got a remission result . So now more meds. Well we are here again with the test results, and I have just had a broncitis, and I couldnt take anything for it because they didnt want to trigger my graves again . Well I went to get my blood work yesterday , and the results are in TSH-5.85 FT4-0.61 Now all that says is it is low ,, and well the dr has said it is low and what am I taking ? Well so here is where I am confused , what does this mean ? Does this mean I am hypo now instead of hyper ? Please shed some light on this , I am just in the dark . Thanks Joanne
