Guest guest
>> Right now my eyes are watery and a little puffy. The eyeballs themselves look ok. > I called my Endo last week because I was not given an appointment since my RAI. I still don't have one. . . . I was told though, that sometimes he doesn't see them till about 6 months. When I call, should I let that happen or tell them that I want one sooner? And if they ask why I want it sooner, what do I tell them? Hi Betty, Maybe someone else here knows of a particular article or guideline saying how soon you should be seen after RAI. My understanding is that thyroid levels can change drastically and quickly, either up or down, and it's important to monitor this. (It's too bad the dr.'s office won't accept that you simply want to be seen earlier.) Pam B.'s post, " Omega 3 for TED and Good Health, " is message 30331.
