Guest guest
Yes, I have been for about three weeks. My daughter is GFCF and corn free. My son is CF and due to some other issues, we commenced the Feingold diet about three weeks ago. Once I received the Feingold diet information and determined what were offending products, it was relatively easy to remove the few offending items from the diet. It was only a couple of days of torture removing orange juice, but you can have certain lemonades and other juices. For some reason, both my kids hate pear juice. All in all, it was not too difficult, and the results have been outstanding for my son, but ho-hum for my daughter. Carol in Florida > Is Any one doing the combination of Feingold and gfcf? Guest guest
Just curious, do you use " baby juice " (in the baby juice aisle)? If you do, I would strongly suggest trying " After the Fall " (you can get it at the HFS). It is whole pressed pears and it is absolutely delicious. If I recall, the sugar content is much lower also. -a mom to Alec 7 (nt) and Billy 4 yo w/autism > > Is Any one doing the combination of Feingold and gfcf? Guest guest
> Is Any one doing the combination of Feingold and gfcf? I don't know the Feingold protocol, but we are gluten, casein, corn, soy, dye, preservative, and phenol free. We do have problems sometimes like when I bought bananas to set out for a summer party and my kid got one because I wasn't thinking. One of my kids also really likes Vruit (a veggie/fruit drink that we get at Wild Oats) but the one with the big phenol problem really doesn't like juice so we don't worry about it with her. I probably shouldn't say soy free, but soy reduced since once in a while they get something with a bit of soy in it without trouble. They just can't have very much or have it very often. Guest guest
Hi a. Yes, I got it at Whole Foods. I don't know why they don't like it. I can't get them to eat pears either. I've used the juice in breads and other foods, and they do okay with that, but one time I made a GREAT pear bread. Hubby and I ate it. Co-workers loved it. Kids gagged on it. They'll drink Lemonade before pear juice, much to my dismay. Thanks - Carol > Just curious, do you use " baby juice " (in the baby juice aisle)?
