Attenolol (beta blocker) and thyroid med.

I have searched google for the answer to this question but can not

find any info.

I take 12.5 of Attenolol (beta blocker) with my am and pm dose of

armour thyroid ( I have mild mitral valve prolapse).

Does attenolol block any absorption of my throid med. by taking this

small ammount with it? My doc. says it will not but I just wanted

some input from other people on thyroid replacement.

I usually wait about 1 1/2 hours to eat after taking it just in case

it would slow down the absorption time.

All I have seen online is that the T3 in Armour may make the

attenolol less effective in slowing heartrate.
