Guest guest
All, Deianira has been exhibiting signs of pre-puberty for MANY years - she started with pubic hair and armpit hair at 3 years old and the body odor/acne started at 4 years old. She is nine now. We were told by Dr. H in Chicago that we need to have another bone age done - and if she has progressed more than 1 year in bone age since her last study (last year), then we need to start Arimadex (spelling?). I brought this up to her endo over a phone call after the convention and endo is not happy about the idea. He stated that we should not do so since she has been in this stage for so long now that it is not a concern. He did say that we could do another bone age and that he would talk with Dr. H before our appt on Monday. I fear that he may still give some push back and would like some feedback on others that have had to fight the local endo. What are some defenses I can use? Why Arimadex versus other meds? I understand the catch up growth and why we need to proceed in the fashion, but what verbage can I use against an endo? Thanks all!
