Hi Carmen:

I wish I had gotten a chance to meet you at the convention. I think it would

be great to be able to get together some time! My Dad lives in south Plano

and we visit him at least a couple times a year. My husband also has a few

relatives in the Fort Worth area. It is great to hear that Storm is doing so

well. Do you like your endocrinologist there? Hannah has her first appointment

in Oklahoma City (1 1/2 hrs from Tulsa) on August 26th. This is after four

months of waiting for an appt.! We only have one ped. endocrinologist in Tulsa.

When they first tried to send us to him with the RSS dx he denied the

referral and would not see us. The insurance comp. then requested a letter

saying

that he basically didn't feel comfortable dealing with RSS. My ped. called me

back saying well he will see you now but, I wouldn't ask him too many

questions.... He might blow up on you. I (of course) said forget it. I will

find

someone else and called OU. They at least are a teaching institution and are

interested. Anyway we have two foster kids right now (one of which is a major

challenge!) The good news is that school will be starting soon! I just to

have to get both of their IEP's in order as well as my own two kids! I am

looking forward to the break! Let me know when a good month to get together

with

you would be and if works out we can try and schedule something... I may try

and get some respite help at that time but we will see. Just let me

know... God's grace to you too!

PS congratulations on thirteen years (we just celebrated our sixth)!
