Guest guest
Sheryl - I think I may have written this before, so I apologize. Everyone should be aware that mostly with children measured standing (height), Dr. H's height measurements are almost always taller/greater than anywhere else. This is because she goes for the most accurate measurement of " true " height -- which involves the use of a weighted stadiometer, and " stretching " the neck, the weight pushes the board down on top of the head and the needle pinpoints exact height; and she uses books to offset any leg asymmetry. Don't panic about the differences, but do use her growth spreadsheet that you got for the convention?, record all measurements, date, age in yrs/months or months/weeks, and WHICH doctor and WHICH scale (e.g., if in a peds' office there are 2 or 3 scales, remember which one it is). Then you can compare consistent measurements (same dr/same scale). Oh, so much we have to do!!!! > Hi all.. > > I've been off the board for a few weeks and I'm glad to be > back...some great posts! > > Anyway, Dr. H. gave me the appropriate Zantac dosage for Dalia based > on her weight...between this dosage, smaller meals, and Dr. Brown's > bottles, her reflux has improved 95% IMO...we have gone from > spitting up every day (or more) to maybe once a week.
