Guest guest
my son nicholas has been gf/cf for about 18 months now.....great results and can see big changes when he eats something that contains gluten or casein......my problem is after all this time, his diet is still very very limmitted. All he really eats is french fries, both frozen and homemade, sometimes with sweet potatoes, ener-g tapioca bread toasted with peanut butter bananas, orange juice, chips, and gf crackers. thats basically about it. he has never tried meat or vegetables....won't try eggs. We have tried withholding his favorites and serving what the rest of the family is eating (meat, rice, salad etc) but he would rather starve! Anyway, he takes vitamins, is very healthy (except for allergies) and is doing so well he could be considered " almost recovered " ...entering an intergrated class and his neurologist thinks he will 'lose' his dx by kindergarten or 1st gr. Do you think this very limmitted diet will harm him in any way?
