Guest guest
Hello to all! We were up in Edmonton this morning for a Ped. check-up and.... Drum roll please.... Olivia has gained 1/2 a pound since the convention!! She is officially now about 19lbs. There's been no growth but that's OK since the goal right now is to get some meat on her bones, not height velocity. The Dr. really likes the smoothie concoction that we've made even though it is quite high in sugar, with Olivia still being very underweight we don't have to worry a lot about IR right now so we can still give her the high cal smoothies. That's about it for now! Take care everyone, Leah, mom to 9 years and Olivia 4.75 years, 19lbs!!, 33 " , RSS, OI

Guest guest
Jodie - my name is Aileen Hester and we have a 2 3/4 y/o boy with RSS. Today we have received multiple e-mails (approx 20) that appear to be responses from you to other people. Just want to let you know that your responses are going astray. On the otherhand I'm happy to have a connection with someone else re: children with RSS. We live in Northwestern CT & really don't know any other families with RSS - our household is very busy, considering Jake (with RSS) is number 4 out of 5. He currently has a G-tube and every couple of months or more frequently we are ready to pull our hair out over something - he retches a lot & at times my husband has trouble dealing with it. I registered online with yahoo awhile ago, but I haven't been back to it because I went back to work. If you know anyone who would be willing to talk/e-mail re: issues with G-tubes I would like to know - Thank you - Aileen Hester ajhester@...
