Guest guest
, Yah! Hooray for .....and you too! ) That is a wonderful feeling isn't it? Also, I am glad you got the ear infection before it got too bad. It is so hard to tell when they get them. sometimes isn't even cranky, feverish, or ANYTHING. He tolerates them so well. How do they do it? ) I have come to think that when gets congested and stuff that he needs to be looked at for an ear infection, because that usually seems to be what happens. Congestion, ear infection. I guess it has something to do with their small ear and sinus canals and no where for the fluid to go????? So it pools in the ears? Seems like I have heard that. Not sure. ) Anyway, what a great job both of you are doing! ) Jodi R. Guest guest
Hi, Has your doctor mentioned tubes? Emerence had her first set at age 9 months and then one fell out and she had her second set placed at the beginning of July at 17 mo. She had otitis media with effusion. Basically the fluid doesn't drain and turns into a thick gluey substance which can affect hearing and subsequently speech. It has helped her a lot, even though the 10 minute surgery feels like it takes forever! , 4.5, Emerence 19 mo 18.1 lb 29ish " , SGA Small Girl with Attitude! > > Hi Everyone: > > > > Yesterday I had at the pediatrician's office for a sick > visit. > > I thought it was just really a head cold but they said to bring her > > because she is on the Zyrtec already.
