Guest guest
Hi Jody, Your symptoms are related to hypoT and your labs confirm that you're hypothyroid. Palpitations, joint pain and hair loss are all seen in hypoT, and also sleep disturbances. Weight loss can occur in hypo and hyper. The range for TSH is now 0.3-3.04 and normal people rarely have a TSH higher than 2.0. TSH is also falsely decreased in GD. I think your doctor was confused by your symptoms since your probably mentioned hyper, and hair loss can occur in hyper. Your labs weren't evaluated properly since they suggested hypoT in July. This will be easy to fix. You probably need to reduce your ATD dose and have a TSI test. It's likely that you're in remission and no longer even need ATDs or only need a very small dose.
