difference between Free T4 tests

I was wondering if anyone knows the difference between Free T4, calculated,

and Free T4, non-dialysis. It seems from the range my lab uses for the

tests that we (the group) use the non-dialysis, generally. Is the

non-dialysis a more direct or accurate measure? My GP, who does most of my

blood work, has previously ordered the calculated, but he's now ordering

non-dialysis.
