I certainly did. Now for the $64 adjusted for inflation question: what

are the options for muscle weakness? Does it get better with treatment,

etc.? Is there any way, like the bone density test does for bone loss, to

check this?

Thanks and take care, Fay

Hi Fay,

My experience with it is that as my levels improved on ATD's and I

persevered with gentle exercise, my muscles got stronger slowly. But I do

work at it, I do tai chi every day, walk half an hour or so most every day,

do PT exercises about 4 nights a week for an hour, and now I've started

swimming laps 2x a week for 45 minutes. So, most days I try to get at least

an hour if not more of some kind of exercise.

I think the muscle weakness is part of the body's not being able to absorb

nutrients from the food, which passes through so quickly when we're hyper.

So the body is using what's available to it--muscle! to function. There may

be other reasons, but I'm too darned lazy to research what they are.
