Acupuncture - Sittin on the Fence

Hi Everybody

I have had six treatments with acupuncture and hope to do at least 4 more.

I usually get 2 needles - one near the big toe and the other near the ankle. I

get 1 needle in each lower leg muscle at the side. I get 1 needle in the

thyroid and one a little lower. I get 1 needle at the side of each palm for

sleeping.

I feel wonderfully balanced when I leave my sessions and recommend them.

I occasionally feel pain in the thyroid when the needle goes in but the lady

said that that is because the organ is unwell. I have only experienced this

bruising feeling (no marks) in the beginning and once again in the middle

treatment. The times that I had this bruising feeling my thyroid felt a little

swollen and tender but it settled down in one day. All the other acupuncture

points were fine.
