Clear DayHello again everyone. It has been a while since I've posted anything.

I've been quite busy with my three children getting back to school so I haven't

had a chance until now. After I decided against RAI for 2 weeks ago, they

have placed her on Methimazole 5mg (generic for Tapazole 5mg), to be taken twice

daily. She is also being kept on Propanolol 10mg, THREE times a day. She is

feeling terrible. Her throat is hurting every day, she's getting headaches,

and her stomach hurts too. Is this a normal thing because of getting use to her

meds or should I be calling the hospital?

if she is having these types of symptoms, most especially the sore throat, I

would have a blood count done as soon as possible.

Hi All

When I was a teenager I had an infection in my kidneys and my blood pressure

went up and I was put on a beta blocker (like propanol). I could not tolerate

it and was forced to go on it. I felt terrible on these beta blockers. The

beta blockers also made me get an asma type of symptom.

I remember the headaches and brain fog and unwellness.

Many years later......I was put on calcum inhibitor instead. But I went through

hell for years trying to tolerate the beta blockers.
