Hello Support Group,

I know I read a recipe for a " bubble blowing mixture " but I can't find

it. Seems to me it had glycerin and dish soap, but not sure what else or

in what proportions. I checked ' Special Diet and Carol

Kranowitz's 101 Activities for Kids and didn't see it. Does anybody have

a mixture they use? I tried plain dish soap mixed with water but the

bubbles immediately burst and there weren't many of them. If you can

help, please post a better mixture. My son spills more than he blows so I

need vast quantities of this stuff and would like to avoid retail costs.

Thanks,

Sharon,

This is the recipe we use.

1/4 cup dish liquid

2 tsp. glycerin

2 Cups water

I don't know a GFCF dish liquid. I have thought about trying the baby bath,

but have not done it.

I can't help you with the mixture, but there is a " container " for

bubble that doesn't spill no matter which way you turn it (unless one

opens it or try really hard to spill it). Someone gave me one long

time ago, but I don't know where they got it from. I think I saw it

recently in Toys-R-us.

It is a " bubble tumbler " , from little kids I believe. It is

roundish on top where the " tool " goes in.

I am pretty sure you can find it in toys-R-us. They also have a

bigger one with a " tool " (the thing you blow into to explain-don't

know what to call it), that is lots bigger and can just be swung in

the air to make tons of bubbles and comes with a bucket. Still in

toys-R-us I think.

Shirley,

Thanks so much for the recipe, I as way off in my questimate of

proportions! and to ..I will look for a spill proof bubble

holder this week! My 2 kids will be so happy to blow and I will

appreciate the sticky bubble juice not being all over my deck and

furniture!!!

We'll be outside all week, check the skies for bubbles!
