flu shots - are our kids high risk?

hi all,

I have a question about the flu shot. I had signed Willie up then read that

the flu shots have a form of mercury in some of them. The FDA has warned

against mercury in vaccines due to the possible link to autism. At the same

time,

they are telling us to give high-risk kids the flu shot. Any additional insight

would be greatly appreciated.

My son has been getting flu shots for the last two years. This

year, due to the shortage, only people in the high risk category are

getting them. Are our RSS kids high risk?

Malathi-

I asked this question at christopher's last weight check and my ped

said yes to add him and his brothers to the list at her office and

she would tell them he is at risk and because of this him and our

family all need to get the shot.
