the holiday time is a great time to go to the city!!! it is so

beautiful that time of the year!!! i havent been there for new

years but hope to one day!!!

Being in the city that close is New Year's eve is not crazy. It

will be a little crowded with tourists, but you can see the tree at

Rockefeller Center etc. There are a lot of fun things to do.

As for Times Square, no I would not go there on New Years Eve. It

is freezing cold and totally insane. Also, you have to be there

really early and once you are inside the barriers you cannot leave.
