Guest guest
Hey, all, Amy had a good visit with her endo today, even if it took all afternoon to get it done. He thinks she's heading towards remission and after reviewing her labs in the next few days, is looking at reducing meds with the idea of eliminating them at some point. A slow, careful point. I did ask about more frequent labs since he doesn't want to see her again for 3 months and he immediately asked us to come in at 6 weeks. Now we can monitor more closely what she's doing, and I'm hopeful about remission sometime soon. Thanks to everyone thus far and I hope this is encouraging to others out there. Amy's Pam Diagnosed in Jan. 2001; fired first two TOP endos after fighting over RAI; called entire insurance list to find one who wouldn't push RAI; been on Tap, then Tap and Levoxyl, plus some dietary changes as well as stress reduction. Guest guest
Hi Pam, That is WONDERFUL news, and I for one certainly feel encoraged. I'll be telling Lillie, who also seems well at the moment, but is not nearing remission, as far as we can tell. Amy has been on meds for 2 1/2 yrs so far? (I'm math-impaired, sorry.) What's her dosage now? Can you please remind me what levoxyl is and what it does? You must be feeling so relieved! - > Hey, all, > > Amy had a good visit with her endo today, even if it took all afternoon to > get it done.
