Our Magic Walk on Sunday & Essay Contest HELP!!

Hi Everyone

We are doing our Magic Walk on Sunday. We have a crowd of at least 10

adults and 6 kids that I know of. It's supposed to be cold and I

think maybe starting a cold so we may have to cut the walk down

a little bit. We will see. We plan on doing a 4 mile walk. My

newphew and his girlfriend who attend Montclair State have scheduled

their walk for us on October 23. They are both involved in a

fraternity/soriority and DJ on the campus radio so they really have

the power to try to get a turn out. Any suggestions for a bigger turn

out please let me know. I handed so many pledge forms out to people I

know and asked them to help us collect money, so I don't know where we

are at with donations. I'm putting the calls out there asking for

everyone to get their sheets back to me by October 29

One of my husband's newphews who is 6th grade received an assignment

to write an essay on a charity of their choice. He selected the Magic

Foundation. Well the essay is also a contest. Whoever essay wins,

the school will do a fundraiser for that foundation!!!! I already

called the Magic Foundation to ask them to send me what they can to

help him with is essay. I told him that I will help him in any way

possible because it would be such a benefit to the foundation. The

essay has to be about what the foundation is all about and things of

that nature.

Please if anyone has any suggestions of what topics or highlights to

touch on more than others or some kind of outline to go by, please let

me know and you can e-mail me privately at jenn-omd@... or

jbriggs1970@.... I don't know the specifics of the essay such

as how long it should be or anything. We really want him to win and I

know him that if he doesn't win he would be more disappointed then the

average kid because is his favorite cousin and wants to help so

bad with this.
