Guest guest
Hi everyone My son (Charlie 15mths RSS) had a physio assessment yesterday as he is not walking or pulling up yet. He is bottom shuffling very fast though! The physio said that he was a bit low toned and weak around the shoulders and torso. I had heard that when they start growth hormones this can help with their muscle bulk and strength but the physio asked if with exercise alone, strengthening and increased muscle tone could occur in these kids (as at this stage, Charlie won't be starting GH therapy for a while). I didn't know the answer to this - can anyone shed light? Thanks Alison (mum to almost 3yrs and Charlie RSS 15mths)
