Guest guest
Hey , Thanks for the update! I love the " meatloaf head. " Now that's a term of affection if I ever heard one since most kids love meatloaf. I wish you and and , Caroline and Tori and everyone else lived close so I could spoil all these babies. I'm looking forward to Christmas pictures, Elaine
Guest guest
Hah! We have a Screech and a Lumpy. Both are doing very well and are vociferous to boot but, all in all, they are happy babies. Lumpy is only like that when he's hungry. Take care, dx & RAI 1987 (at age 24) > Hi all: > > After writing about alternative medicine, it occurred to me that there have been few baby updates on the board lately . > > Just wanted to tell all you encouraging fellow Gravesians out there that I continue to show no signs of hyperthyroidism at nearly eight months post-partum. I'm on the same dose of Armour that I was three months ago (although did crash into hypo land then, just for a week of hell or so and am feeling really well - sleep aside. > > Mr. Merrick Ramon is doing just fabulous! He'll be eight months old in two weeks and is inching about on all fours and scooting backwards with greater zeal. He just learned how to wave two days ago and is waving happily at everything, from dogs to passing cars. I LOVE this baby!!!!!! I'm so glad I took the leap of faith and had one more. My other two kids are doing well with the baby, although Scarlett did name Merrick " meatloaf head " shortly after announcing that she both loved and hated her baby brother. I'm somewhat ashamed to say that the name has stuck . . . > > Thanks again to all who encouraged me along the way!! I read somewhere that one of the many tragedies of these autoimmune diseases is that they tend to strike women in their late childbearing ages, and thus complicate so much. As someone who lived thorugh much of that, I'm happy to help others facing some of the same questions/concerns/pains. . . > > Off to try to sleep! > > B
Guest guest
LOL ! What a great update! Sometimes it's nice to talk about things going on in our lives other than Graves' (as if we have anything else! ;-) ) I'm glad Mr. Meatloaf Head (how did Scarlett come up with that one?) is growing and learning! Sounds like he's getting typical treatment from his big bro and sis (at least it sounds similar to the way things run 'round here). Good news too on your health. I was worried about you the first couple weeks, but it sounds like your body's bounced back wonderfully! Elaine's right, we need some pictures to go along with all these babies! Makes me want to have #4. Fortunately, that's only a passing insanity moment. The 3 I've got keep me busy enough - sure you know what I mean! Sooo off topic > Hi all: > > After writing about alternative medicine, it occurred to me that there have been few baby updates on the board lately . > > Just wanted to tell all you encouraging fellow Gravesians out there that I continue to show no signs of hyperthyroidism at nearly eight months post-partum.
