Guest guest
That's right Dr. H herself came out and called us in for the appointment. She typed up the report as we were talking (part of the reason we were there for 3.5 hrs). I called Yadira later to set up the next appointment but she didn't return my call for a few days. So, I kept calling until she picked up the phone (not get the answering service). Then I scheduled everything. If this aiting room was bigger than the previous one, all I can say is WOW!! -Malathi > > > > Hi. Guest guest
Well, just twelve hours after posting my message, I got a call from Dr. H's office and have an appointment on December 13th for Jack! Yay! S.---Just to clarify, I wasn't complaining about the delay or turnaround time, as I understand how very busy (and understaffed) Dr. H is; I was just curious/anxious to know if sending in a medical history guaranteed that we'd see her or if there was a chance she'd refer us to someone else if she didn't " see " RSS in the history we sent. It was really more of a " what is standard protocol? " query that I had. Sorry if my e-mail inferred otherwise!!! Marcy:) > > > > Hi. Guest guest
Hey Marcy - I am so glad they got back to you. Don't worry, I wasn't thinking you were complaining. I was the one complaining, because I have gotten a plethora of emails to my private address, and so has Katy, of parents asking us to try and get ahold of Dr. Harbison. I have a REAL problem with a hospital like Mt. Sinai recruiting an endocrinogist and then not supporting them. Now, I don't know the terms of the agreement that Dr. Neu set up with this move (Dr. Neu is the head of the division). But it is driving me nuts!!!! Dr. Harbison always says she wants to be the " captain " of the child's ship, per se. But how are any of us supposed to get a hold of her? I understand if it is non-patients. But her CURRENT patients should be able to get a return email or phone call, within 48 hours, or within 60 minutes if paged. That simply is not happening today. Can any of you tell I am royally mad???? So don't worry -- you may not be complaining but plenty of us are! Hopefully, I can get an answer on what we can do about it (do we write a letter and sign our names, who would we went it to, etc.). We'll keep everyone posted. > > > > > > Hi.
