I " took " progesterone suppositories from about 3 to 14 weeks gestation. I've always wondered about this....on the other hand I had a very long, easy early labor ( 3 days to get to 4 cm) and then a very efficient active labor ( from 4cm to delivery in 6 hours... and completely unmedicated ) Also I was 40 years old and this was my 3rd full term dleivery ( not including one 24 week preemie)...wonder if anyone has done any research about this stuff. n, any info?
