The autism diet and Respirdal is helping Evan get more fun time with the

rest of his brothers. Today his mom took his two ADHD/RAD brothers to the

public pool with a friend of hers. We talked about that it might be best to

leave Evan here until she got a chance to check the pool out since she had

never been there but Evan got so excited when the others were getting ready

to go that they decided to go ahead and chance it. Evan had done so good at

the recent fishing day that it seemed possible. Well, he did have to check

out the bathrooms once but then he sat with mom by the side of the pool and

dangled his legs in the water. (he will not get in even a wading pool that

is over 18 " deep). The only problem was the littlest RAD complaining and

whining that he did not have a face mask. He was so bad that a life guard

asked him what was wrong! He has yet to understand that screaming does not

get him what he wants but at least the tantrums are getting shorter. The

hour and half was mostly fun for all them and they got to have quality

'family' time and grandpa and I got to have a good relaxing rest without

having to keep up with either of them. So we all got something out of it.
