Guest guest
Hi Tika, What was Mai's eating pattern at home? When would she eat? How often would she eat? What is her eating like when she is not in school? Perhaps you could meet with the school and ask them to try and mimick her at home eating routine. School can be very stimulating and it could affect her appetite. That happened to our son and he too lost weight for a while. It was quite upsetting. His kindergarten was only 1/2 day. So we met with the school and asked that they make sure he ate his snack. We told them not to force him to eat but to make sure that he finished the whole thing before he left for home. So they had him eat a little every 15 minutes or so while he was involved with other activities. Then when he got home he would eat quite a bit while he watched hi favorite VCR tapes. I hope this helps.
