Guest guest
I’ve been sent this information from a doctor in Dade City, Florida who is desperately trying to assist a patient with an aggressive form of TB. Please contact her or myself if you have any information to share. Thank you. -----Original Message----- From: Cameron, Rhonda [mailto:RCameron@...] Sent: Tuesday, March 27, 2007 8:11 AM duran@... Cc: Davenport, Diane; Grant, Dinah Subject: Patient Moraima: I am looking for some ideas that NCFH may have for a female, migrant patient of ours. She has TB. She is being given the medicine for the pulmonary consequences of the TB. However, her TB has resulted in the formation of very painful and large tumors in her abdominal cavity. She has already had one emergency surgery for the removal of the large tumors via an ER admission for extreme pain. However, the tumors are growing back. Do you know of any sources of funding for ongoing care for this patient/medical professionals with expertise in this aggressive form of TB/ resources up the Eastern Seaboard/ or any other ideas for this situation. Thanks so much for all that you do. It's great to know that NCFH is there for consultations. Rhonda Cameron
