Guest guest
I'm guessing it wasn't the weather, and it was the butter flavored popcorn. Today is nice and sunny, typical AZ weather (except for a little higher humidity). Josh's OT came this AM and at first I didn't say anything to her.. She started commenting on how disorganized he seemed and how destructive he was, how he was being uncooperative and kicking/screaming/growling... all the same things his hab therapist complained to me about last night. I told her that we had a diet infringement yesterday afternoon with the butter on the popcorn and her face lit up.. " I KNEW *SOMETHING* had changed... " then she looked at Josh and said " NO MORE BUTTER FOR YOU! " He's still babbling and signing what he does know, but it sure did affect his attention span, distractability, and destructive centers. Gluten caused him to stop talking/signing for a week as well as the gastrointestinal distress, I guess this is how casein is going to affect him... Definitely helps to have the occasional reminder that this IS working for your child, no matter what a pain in the butt it is.
