Guest guest
Hi everyone.. Just a quick note of thanks to the responses of support. Life has been so hectic lately! Well here it goes... ) Braxton is doing OK (after 8 days in the hospital). The doctor seems to think that he is having frontal lobe seizures and stated that the small amount of tape that he did get to review looked like he was probably " epileptic at night. " We will get to see the neurologist again on Thursday. Meanwhile we have 2 vision appt, 3 dental appts and Hannah has an appt with a hearing doctor (because she flunked her hearing test) all this week. What a crazy week and to make matters worse one of the therapeutic foster kids is flipping out and has physically attacked me 6 times in the last month. I have finally put in notice on the kid and am giving them two weeks notice for them to find him a new home.( I even had to call the police on him and have had over two thousand dollars worth of damage done on my home in the last two months). On the flip side... Hannah absolutely loves school and they all seem to love her. I have been told by all of her teachers that she has a little " Napoleon attitude " and that she doesn't take anything that any of those kids dish out. She even sits in a special chair during story time at her developmentally delayed preschool, and if anyone gets near it she tells them to get out of MY chair! Hannah is also very close to being potty trained! Its about time! Hannah still wears size two diapers because even though she weighs past the weight limit she has absolutely no hips or bottom. She reminds me of a little tadpole after she eats because her tummy sticks out! She has finally grown into twelve month jeans and wears an 18-24 month in a shirt. Her legs are ridiculously short and if she wears jeans or pants I have to put on a belt every time or her pants fall off at school. I am just wondering if anyone else has this same problem where their child has either a big shirt size and a very small pant size or vica versa. It seems so odd to me that there is such a big discrepancy. Even though she weighs 25 lb. even she can fit into every single pair of six month shorts with ease because she is proportioned so odd. Her head is in the 97th percentile. Which makes it very difficult to get a shirt over her head...HMM? I wonder if this accounts for some of her weight? ) I'm laughing but wondering if anyone had any thoughts on this? (Hannah-RSS?, SGA, Hypoglycemia, and Braxton's(Autism, Seizures) Mommy and then some!
