Guest guest
Cindy, We have our son on Nystatin as well. Weird that it's a yeast combatant, yet they mix it with sugar... Go figure. Anyways, for that reason, we get ours from a local Compound Pharmacy - costs us $45 for a 1 month supply - about 120 little capsules. We were getting it just as straight powder, but it was too hard to measure out, so for the same price, we get them to put it in little capsules which we break open. I know our insurance would cover the regular pharmacy stuff, but we didn't want to take any chances with the added sugar.
