RE: Nystatin / Yeast diet???

We have our son on Nystatin as well. Weird that it's a yeast combatant, yet

they mix it with sugar... Go figure. Anyways, for that reason, we get ours

from a local Compound Pharmacy - costs us $45 for a 1 month supply - about

120 little capsules. We were getting it just as straight powder, but it was

too hard to measure out, so for the same price, we get them to put it in

little capsules which we break open. I know our insurance would cover the

regular pharmacy stuff, but we didn't want to take any chances with the

added sugar.
