Guest guest
How accurate is the IgG test for reactive foods? Can anybody recommend me a lab that perform accurate IgG/E tests. I think people have been using Great Smokie and Great Plain. Any experience which one is more accurate and money wise? Any experience with insurance reimbursement? Thanks, Kym
Guest guest
Our doctor has used Metamatrix Labs (I think in Georgia) for years & he urged me to use that lab instead of GPL. I found the results to be spot on accurate, the items tested (over 90) were wide ranging, and the report was detailed & very useful. I was also sent a rotation diet plan shortly after I got the results. (Had to alter for gfcf, but useful nonetheless). I've seen 2 other laboratories' test reports, and they gave less info. Also, some tested for milk, cheese & yoghurt (for example), when really just milk would do for our purposes. So Metamatrix's food panel covered a wider range of foods b/c it didn't test several items in the same food group. It also includes seasonings, which was very helpful as my child has a moderate reaction garlic. Never would have guessed that! > How accurate is the IgG test for reactive foods?
