Guest guest
Sorry about that last blip. My mail program was not cooperative. Amy, I lost weight with my first bout of Graves. I have since gained weight with a reoccurrence of Graves, partially, I am certain because the hunger is greater and the desire for food stronger, and most people with Graves are on a faster track and eat more. Have you noticed that you are more often hungry and are you actually taking in more food/calories? Guest guest
Just like some people have a high > metabolism, I believe some of us have a slow one. There is a link between thyroid disorder and glucose intolerance. I half-hoped that it would be the case with me and I guess I should be grateful it wasn't - one less thing to deal with, though it would have been convenient. Still I think that eating " as if " might be helpful - more good protein, lots of vegetables, good fruit, and as much as possible whole grains. Take care, Fay ________________________________________________________________ The best thing to hit the internet in years - Juno SpeedBand! Surf the web up to FIVE TIMES FASTER!
