Do you know why you shouldn't do DMG with bethanecol?

Thanks

I am sure that you will hear pros and cons about any place. I was not impressed

with Pfeiffer Clinic. There is very little follow up. They " prescribe " MEGA

doses of supplements and vitamins ( at one point we had 11 capsules per day to

supposedly give my daughter!). They have discovered that kids with autism have

too much copper and not enough zinc. So?? Then I wanted to try the Megson

protocol. They required that we be on the horsepill vitamins for 6 months

before trying ( not really part of the Megson protocol). When we tried the

Megson protocol, they never even followed up to see how my daughter was doing.

When we got the bethanecol ( Megson protocol) the doctor said we had to change

the supplement mixture ( to the tune of $250) again becasue you should not have

DMG when you take bethanecol. I get my new mixture an it has DMG in it. When I

called, the nurse did not know the DMG should not be there and said she would

ask the doctor. Oops- there should not have been DMG. Good thing I was paying

attention. Then I thought about doing another peptide test. Pfeiffer Clinic

charged me $400 for the lab kit ( not doing the test, just the kit) which you

can get free from Great Plains Lab!!! Finally, every time you go there they do

the full $1000 battery of blood , urine and hair tests again. I can see doing

blood tests again, but doing over a hair sample for heavy metal when the results

were normal the first time??? ( would that mean their supplements CAUSED mercury

contamination?) Needless to say, we have moved on.....
