You should not worry about viruses coming thru via the list, this is precisely why I have it set up to strip attachments. I will let the person know they may be infected (or may not, many of these viruses will spoof email addresses so they appear to be coming from someone they are not) and they should run a virus checker. With the proliferation of these viruses, it is a very good idea for everyone to get their hands on a good virus checker or two and run them a couple times a week (unless you run linux or Apple, then you're chances of getting viriied is pretty minimal, but it never hurts to do it anyways).
